Junior Elmore James continues to establish himself as one of the top players in the history of the Brush boys basketball program, as the standout guard became the fastest player, and the first junior in school history to score 1,000 points! Elmore reached the prestigious milestone in an away matchup against Riverside High School on January 22nd. To commemorate his outstanding accomplishment, Elmore was presented with a framed basketball during a short ceremony in Welser Gym on Tuesday, February 9th, shortly before a home matchup versus Kenston High School. Elmore was joined by his parents and Head Coach Chet Mason during the presentation. The junior guard continued his record scoring pace with thirty-eight total points against the Bombers, elevating his season total as of February 9th, to 1,133 points. Congratulations to Elmore James on his record setting accomplishment and best wishes for continued success in the future!
