Brush High School Art Teacher Sarah Curry was recently featured in an article contained within Ideastream.org’s news and media website and the SEL Schools wanted our community to have a chance to share this publicity. You can view the article by clicking here. The article features a focus on the social and emotional challenges facing our high schoolers, revolving around aspects of stress from bullying or questions about self-identity, all in addition to schoolwork. Even though spending quality time in the classroom has been limited, Mrs. Curry’s work as an artist is very much focused on her students, particularly the experiences of young women. Way to go, Mrs. Curry!
