Teachers have the ability to make a positive impact on the lives of countless students, leaving a legacy that endures into retirement and beyond. Family members of former Adrian Elementary teacher Mrs. Mary Casey, who recently passed away, honored her legacy as an educator in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools by supplying and delivering Thanksgiving meals to Adrian Elementary families during the Week of November 23rd. Adrian Principal Ken Lasky and District Social Worker Shannon Carlson helped by identifying families interested in receiving a Thanksgiving meal. On Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24th, approximately ten Thanksgiving meals were delivered to the homes of grateful Adrian families. The heartwarming gesture of generosity was a wonderful tribute to Mrs. Casey who loved teaching students at Adrian Elementary and will always be a treasured member of the SEL Schools family. On behalf of the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, thank you to the family of Mrs. Mary Casey for their wonderful demonstration of kindness and generosity on behalf of families at Adrian Elementary School.
