The Lady Arc Wrestlers competed with a sense of pride and strength at the inaugural Girls State Wrestling Championships, sponsored by Ohio State Wrestling Coaches Association from February 21-22, 2020 at Hilliard Davidson High School.  Under the direction of Head Wrestling Coach and Brush Intervention Specialist Richard Hall, the team placed 56th out of 99 teams represented, earning a high level of respect from more experienced wrestlers. Two team members, Punam Sherpa and Nyere Grant advanced to compete at this past weekend’s Sectional Tournament at Willoughby South High School on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  The entire team was recognized in front of the entire study body during an exciting Pep Rally on Friday, February 28th.  Congratulations to Punam Sherpa, Josie Sherpa, Hannah Holt, Nyere Grant, Ernestine Underwood, and Marneice Johnson for representing Brush and the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools with Arc Pride!
