The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools would like to extend its gratitude to City of Lyndhurst Mayor Pat Ward and members of City Council for hosting an informational meeting regarding Issue 32 on Thursday, February 6th. Hosted at the Lyndhurst Community Center, Mayor Ward invited the community to come and listen to information about Issue 32, the District’s 6.9 mill levy on the March 17th ballot this spring. Citizens had the opportunity to listen to Superintendent Linda N. Reid, Treasurer Josh Hill and the entire administrative team share insights regarding the purpose for the levy. Mayor Ward facilitated the evening’s discussion, asking for questions from the audience and inviting people to the podium to provide their own individual perspectives on the issue. Board President Cassandra Jones and Member Neil Bloomberg also participated with public comments during the forum as well. One gracious participant in the audience led the entire room in a round of applause for the teachers in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools. In all, the meeting was very informative and productive. The SEL Schools thanks Mayor Pat Ward and other City Officials for hosting this valuable forum on Issue 32.
