The Charles F. Brush High School Class of 2018 held their commencement ceremony earlier this week which provided for a glorious celebration of the individual and collective accomplishments of this year’s graduating class. Taking place in the beautifully adorned Connor Palace Theater, members of the Class of 2018 listened to a variety of ensemble performances, first by the Brush Wind Ensemble and then by the Commencement Choir. Superintendent Linda N. Reid addressed the Class of 2018 with remarks about continuing a legacy of inspiration, while SEL Schools’ Board President Stefanie Rhine sincerely congratulated the members of the graduating class. Principal Karl Williamson provided the certification protocols necessary for formal graduation and led the awarding of the diplomas to the departing members of the Class of 2018. Encouraging words were delivered by Rachel N. Imel, Valedictorian and Evan Mularo, Salutatorian, for the Class of 2018. In a culminating moment, tassels were commemoratively moved from right to left, signifying the completion of this group of students’ formal education in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools. On behalf of everyone in the District, congratulations to the Charles F. Brush High School Class of 2018.
