Brush Students Participating in Art Show Hosted by Beachwood Arts Council

The SEL Schools are proud to announce that Brush students Kourtney Williams, Lauren Radacker, Jalen Hill, and Justin Hearne will be participating in the Beachwood Arts Council’s Ileen Kelner Juried High School Art Show!  The competition will spotlight the incredible talent and artwork by students from twenty-six area high schools.  The following individuals will serve as judges for the competition:  Sandra Noble, Part-time Lecturer, Art Education, Department of Art History and Art, Case Western Reserve University; Grafton J. Nunes, President and Chief Executive Officer, Cleveland Institute of Art; and Kevin O’Donnell, Managing Director, Lee Hayden Gallery, Beachwood Place.  The student’s art teachers are Hadley Conner, Sarah Curry and April Lewis.


Eight top awards will be announced during the reception and winners will receive cash prizes. In addition, all exhibiting students in attendance will be acknowledged for their participation.  The exhibition will be on view February 11 – March 4, 2018 at the Beachwood Community Center, located 25225 Fairmount Boulevard, Beachwood, 44122.  The Gallery will be open for viewing on Monday – Friday: 10am – 4pm; Saturday: 10am – 3pm; and Sunday: 10am – 1pm.  For additional information, please contact Paula Rollins, 216-789-3995 or [email protected].
