Congrats to Brush Student Congress for Major Accomplishments

Seniors in the Class of 2020 who were members of Student Congress have made a major contribution to this student-based organization over the last four years, and the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools congratulates these individuals. This particular group was very special in their efforts to reorganize Student Congress and transform it into the student group that Brush High School knows today. Some of these impressive milestones include an increase of 1325% in student participation since 2015, a 600% increase in fundraising in the same time frame, more than $20,000 in charitable donations/service projects since 2015, and more than 4,000 toys donated to children in need in our partnership with the USMC's Toys for Tots program, since 2015. Other groups that Student Congress have helped include:

         -Brush Senior Class Prom Fund
         -Senior Citizen Luncheon
         -Academic Team
         -Mock Trial/Speech/Debate
         -Driven Foundation/Arc Elite
         -GSA
         -SLACKERS
         -Brush Cheerleaders

This Student Congress and the seniors involved in it have greatly enhanced the staff and students relationship with events such as the Staff versus Student Basketball Game and the Annual Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon, which are two among others. These high-reaching numbers supplement the interpersonal qualities of hard work and dedication over the past four years, and we are forever thankful for everything they have done. Those returning underclassman who are interested in running for an officer position for 2020-2021 should please email Mr. Agrast as soon as possible. Thank you to these seniors for their meaningful contribution to Student Congress.
