Clap Out Celebrations Honor 3rd Graders

Along with Commencement, clap-out celebrations are a highly anticipated and cherished school tradition that commemorates a major milestone on a student’s academic journey. On Thursday, May 28th, Sunview, Adrian, and Rowland Elementary Schools organized a special outdoor clap-out ceremony at each of their buildings to recognize the accomplishments of their third-grade students and wish them continued success at Greenview Intermediate School next school year. The celebrations began promptly at 3:15 PM in each school’s parking lot. Taking proper safety precautions, teachers and staff lined the parking lots to greet 3rd grade families as they drove by with applause, homemade signs displaying best wishes and encouragement, and friendly waves. Students and their families were thrilled to receive the outpouring of support from their teachers and enthusiastically responded with smiles and goodbye waves. On behalf of the staff at Adrian, Rowland and Sunview Elementary Schools, congratulations, and best wishes to all outgoing 3rd graders as they look forward to continued learning and growth at Greenview Intermediate School next school year!
