Olivia's Dream Toy Drive

The SEL Schools community recently partnered with Mayfield City Schools to help make the holiday wishes come true for children across the Cleveland area by supporting a toy drive sponsored by Olivia’s Dream Foundation and Toys for Tots. Named after Olivia Schneider, a Mayfield City Schools student who died tragically in 2018, Olivia’s Dream Foundation was founded by her family to celebrate Olivia’s compassionate and giving spirit. Olivia also attended Sunview Elementary School for kindergarten and first grade before transferring to nearby Mayfield City Schools. Over the past three years, the Olivia’s Dream Toy Drive has collected over 21,600 toys for local children. Under the coordination of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Coordinator Maleeka Bussey, each school building collected new and unwrapped toys in designated collection boxes from November 29th – December 10th, 2021. Thank you to the entire SEL Schools community for their generosity and support on behalf of the Olivia’s Dream Toy Drive this holiday season!
