The Brush Boys basketball team is off to a strong 4-0 start for the 2021-22 season and a key contributor to the team’s success is senior Elmore James IV, who was recently named the News 5 Cleveland Student Athlete for the Week of December 6^th! Under the direction of Coach Chet Mason, the Arcs are coming off a string of impressive victories, the most recent being a 78-67 triumph over Glenville High School. Elmore led the Arcs in scoring against Glenville with 32 points. His stand-out performances on the court and commitment to achievement in the classroom has given Elmore the opportunity to play at the collegiate level with a full basketball scholarship at Ohio University in the fall of 2022.
