Congratulations to the third graders at Rowland Elementary School on creating their very first morning announcement video! Under the leadership of Assistant Principal Ms. Sylvia Marshall, the students created and shared the video with teachers using the Schoology app on Friday, September 17, 2021. The morning announcement videos will feature one or more students leading the Pledge of Allegiance and Rowland Promise Pledge, as well as a weather report, food zone menu choice, updates from Principal Mr. Lee Fuller, and other exciting news from Rowland. Ms. Marshall and the third graders are currently working to create a Jr. ARC AVTV group at Rowland to help give students valuable learning experiences with video production and communications. The students and Ms. Marshall hope to have the first Jr. ARC AVTV program launched and running by November 2021. Mr. Charbel Zakharia, Interactive Media/Production Coordinator for the SEL Schools, is helping with ordering equipment and other resources for the young broadcasters and video producers to use. A special thank-you to Ms. Marshall for her efforts to provide this wonderful learning opportunity at Rowland. Finally, congratulations to all Rowland third graders on a superb job!
