Rowland Elementary is finishing the 2021-22 school year with creativity and flair! The teachers created a 26-day long ABC countdown, one for each letter of the alphabet, as a fun and memorable way to celebrate a successful year and the contributions students and staff have made to building a strong School Family at #RLand (Rowland). Rowland students especially enjoyed celebrating the letter “B” for books on Thursday, April 28th. All kindergartners received a new book from First Books thanks to a partnership with Mayfield United Methodist Church. All other classrooms received new books for their classroom libraries. On Monday, May 2nd, students and staff recognized the letter “D” by dressing up as their favorite Disney character. The entire Rowland school community is excited to continue to celebrate together as they finish the school year strong!
