Students in Mrs. Bell’s Kindergarten class at Sunview Elementary School recently had a special surprise virtual visit from Mrs. Bell’s daughter, Jasmine Bell, an illustrator of picture books! Jasmine provided the students a mini art tutorial during which they designed their own cartoon-like pineapples. The students had a blast and enjoyed the opportunity to apply their own creativity and artistic skills. Students also engaged in a Q and A session with Jasmine and learned more about her career and the various projects she has worked on. The virtual visit was part of the Black History Month celebration at Sunview Elementary and provided students an engaging and inspiring learning experience!
