Students Prepare for Next School Year

The end of the school year marks the beginning of a new chapter in the academic journey for each student in the SEL Schools. During the last two weeks of the 2021-22 school year, several buildings in the district hosted special programs to help students have a successful transition next school year. On Thursday, June 2nd, Greenview Middle School hosted rising fifth grade students from Greenview Intermediate School in the New Gym where they had an opportunity to meet Principal Mrs. Megan Young, and Assistant Principals Mrs. Lisa Quick and Mr. Matt Dziak. During the presentation, students learned about important building procedures, dress code, and other helpful information. Mrs. Young then led each group on a brief tour of the Middle School wing including the cafeteria. On Tuesday, May 24th, rising 7th grade students from the Middle School visited Memorial Junior High School for Orientation. Principal Matthew Bryan and other staff members greeted the students in the Media Center and provided students an overview of the opportunities and expectations at Memorial. Thank you to all administrators and staff for their efforts to help our students have a successful transition next school year. The SEL Schools wishes all students a safe and fun summer as they prepare for the next step of their journey as Arcs!
