Exciting Events at Greenview Middle School

During the last week of the 2021-2022 school year, Greenview Middle School students participated in a flurry of exciting events on Wednesday, May 31st. The Greenview PTA proudly hosted GIF Day festivities for each homeroom class during the morning and afternoon. GIF Day, which stands for “Games, Inflatables, and So Much Fun!” took place behind the school and featured kickball on the baseball field, practice putting greens, inflatables, a yard sized version of Connect Four, and other fun games. Students also stayed cool with popsicles and other refreshments. A special thank you to the Greenview PTA for organizing and supervising the GIF Day activities for our students!
The day’s activities also featured several dances for students to enjoy. As a fun way to reward students for being respectful, responsible, ready, and safe for the entire month of May, Greenview Middle School hosted an incentive dance for 5th grade students in the New Gym. During the evening, Greenview Middle School celebrated 6th grade students and their last week at Greenview campus with a special Sneaker Ball. Participating students who earned a ticket to attend dressed their best and laced up their favorite sneakers to enjoy an evening of dancing, pizza and other refreshments, and a photo booth. Music for both dances was provided by second grade student Lily Goodwin, aka DJ Lily Jade. Students had a blast and enjoyed making new memories with friends.
Congratulations to all participating students for proudly representing themselves and Greenview Middle School!
