The SEL Schools formally recognized the Brush High School Class of 2023 at the Commencement Ceremony held in the Welser Gym on Tuesday, May 30th. Parents and families joined members of the Brush administration and faculty, SEL Schools Board of Education members and district administration to celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s graduating class. Class of 2023 speakers Nevaeh Ammari Varner, Morgan Nichelle Tyus, and Chyana Nihari Summers addressed their fellow graduates with reminders of all the challenges that they have overcome during their time together and to pursue their own unique dreams and goals with persistence. Superintendent Linda N. Reid, Principal Mike Fording and Board of Education President Cassandra M. Jones also delivered inspiring remarks to the new graduates.
