Greenview Students Create Music Videos
music
Students in Mrs. Erin Macsurak’s Science class at Greenview Middle School recently applied their creativity and STEM-knowledge by creating music videos featuring instruments made from found objects in their homes! From homemade maracas and drums to a guitar featuring a cardboard body with rubber band strings, students had a blast creating music out of the mundane. In addition to being composed of common household items, each instrument had to make three different sounds. Students then created short music videos during which they shared about their found object instrument, demonstrated how it produced three different sounds, and played the instrument along with an instrumental track. The SEL Schools community can watch a few of the students’ videos online. Congrats to our Greenview Middle School students for an awesome job!  Click here to view the videos!
