Memorial Hosts Staff Versus Students Basketball Game
basket

In what has become a highly anticipated yearly tradition, Memorial Junior High hosted a basketball game featuring selected staff and students facing off against each other in the new gym on Friday, January 24th.  Brush Varsity Basketball Coach Chet Mason served as coach for both the student and staff teams, providing encouragement and direction. The Memorial Cheerleaders demonstrated Arc Pride with a series of cheers on the side of the court.  As has come to be expected, the game featured a mix of lighthearted fun, teamwork, and a few ESPN SportsCenter worthy plays that brought students and staff alike to their feet.  The annual staff vs students basketball game not only provides a way to promote Arc Pride and school community, it also supports the PBIS program by rewarding students for setting a positive example in their behavior and a commitment to doing their best.
