Greenview Students Get Creative with STEM Activities
stem

Greenview students in Mrs. Erin Macsurak's class, (more affectionately known as “Mrs. Mac”) recently spent their instructional time at home performing a variety of class Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (S.T.E.M.) assignments from their virtual learning spaces. Providing easy access to a handful of resources online, including PBS Kids, Exploratorium, Kitchen Experiments and Digital Labs permits hands-on training and hones vital problem-solving skills. For the 4th Grade Digital Flipbook Challenge, students created digital flipbooks and downloaded them in gif format.  With the Invention Project, 4th graders were asked to not only build a container that could float, but one that would hold another “sinkable” object contained within it… all using recyclable materials! The SEL Community can view slideshows and video examples on the official Greenview STEM Classroom page. Thanks to Mrs. Macsurak for providing this creative and engaging process!
