Across the SEL Schools, all stakeholders are feeling the loss of not being at school together and enjoying both the daily routines and special moments that make up the school experience. However, the SEL community has demonstrated a resiliency and determination to continue teaching and learning and find ways to express appreciation to each other. Greenview Intermediate School Principal Corey Russell recently collaborated with students in the building to create a heartwarming video for Teacher Appreciation Week. Students were given the opportunity to record personal messages to their teachers thanking them for their hard work and expressing their appreciation for all that they do. The touching video brought tears and smiles to the faces of Greenview Intermediate School teachers and staff. The students’ messages are available for viewing online here.
