Greenview Hosts Drive Through Ice Cream Social

Families were greeted by masked, but visibly elated staff members at the Greenview Campus earlier this week, as the school conducted a Drive Through Ice Cream Social in partnership with the Greenview PTA and SEL’s Office of Family and Community Engagement. Families entered the Greenview Campus, remained in their cars, and reported to a group of staff members awaiting curbside with important school materials along with delicious ice cream treats. The new Greenview Middle School administrative team, including Principal Megan Young, Assistant Principals Sylvia Marshall and Lisa Quick, as well as Intermediate School Principal Corey Russell, Family and Community Engagement Coordinator Maleeka Bussey and other staff members helped distribute materials and ice cream to families. Items included Chromebooks, bookbags and other instructional resources. Students and families reciprocated the excitement with smiling faces throughout the entire evening. Thank you to the Greenview PTA for their partnership to make this event possible. Way to go, Greenview Campus families and staff!
