Adrian Hosts Teacher Appreciation Day
teach
Adrian Elementary teachers were surprised with a special Emmy Award themed Teacher Appreciation Day celebration upon arrival at the building on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Principal Ken Lasky personally greeted each teacher to give them a medal and replica Emmy Award as a fun and meaningful way to thank them for their hard work in learning and successfully implementing Schoology, the District’s virtual learning platform. Teachers then walked down the main hallway lined with a red carpet and “Hollywood Stars” for each individual teacher. K-3 Counselor Lisa Artino, who planned the entire Teacher Appreciation Day ceremony, conducted interviews with teachers on the red carpet, which was recorded by District staff. Teachers then grabbed a gift bag and enjoyed a wide selection of sweet treats and refreshments, including baked goodies from Mariah’s Munchies, a bakery and sweets business launched by Adrian student Mariah Morning. A special thank-you to Lisa Artino for organizing the Teacher Appreciation Day celebration. Finally, thank-you to all teachers in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools for their hard work and dedication on behalf of our students!
