SEL Preschoolers Enjoy Learning Activities at Home
pre

SEL preschool students are engaging in a variety of hands-on learning activities inside their home and outdoors thanks to creative online video lessons from their teachers! Miss Meagan created an outdoor scavenger hunt activity where students could go outside in their backyard or other outdoor area such as the Metroparks to locate items such as branches, leaves, logs, stumps, and flowers. To help students build on their STEM-knowledge, Miss Shannon demonstrated how to perform a volcano experiment by combining vinegar and baking soda to create a chemical reaction. Miss Mollie provided a tutorial on how to make Moon-Doh, which is like Play-Doh, by mixing readily available household products including hair conditioner and corn starch. Students also worked on their fine motor skills through Origami lessons with Miss Elaine. With technology and the dedicated efforts of the SEL Preschool team, our Preschool students are continuing to be engaged and learning every day!
