Adrian First Grader Takes STEM Activity to Next Level
diana

During the extended school closure, students at Adrian Elementary School have been completing online lessons, including STEM Lab activities created by Teacher John Bottar. First-grade student Diana Hardy demonstrated a high level of understanding and interest during a recent STEM Lab activity. Students were asked to think about different places animals can live and to also identify the types of animals that live near them. In her response, Diana shared that she went frog hunting at a nearby pond which is an example of “wetlands,” and that “frogs like to live in still water and get lots of sun.” In addition to her excellent response, Diana took a picture of herself holding at least THREE frogs in her hands while displaying a huge smile. Congratulations, Diana, for a job well done and demonstrating strong initiative!
