October 21, 2024 - On Wednesday, October 16, Brush High School hosted a Career Discovery Day for students in eleventh and twelfth grades.
Nearly 30 professions were represented, a selection curated from results of a survey taken by juniors and seniors indicating their areas of interest for potential careers. Students visited during their English class and lunch periods, and were encouraged to visit all tables that interested them and ask questions about the professions, including the education and training required to enter the field. Professions in healthcare, technology, arts, the military, cosmetology, and more were
represented.
Career exploration is an important opportunity for students as they make their post-graduation plans.
