3rd Quarter Award Ceremonies
Award Ceremony

With the recent conclusion of the third grading quarter, buildings across the SEL Schools took the opportunity to recognize students for their hard work, improvement, academic achievement, and setting a positive example at award ceremonies during the Week of April 18th. At Greenview Middle School, Fifth and Sixth grade students were recognized for a variety of accomplishments, including, Honor Roll (3.5-4.0 GPA) and Merit Roll (3.0-3.49 GPA), Perfect Attendance award, and Improvement Award. Additional honors included the ARC Award which salutes students who daily embody the school PBIS values of being “Respectful, Responsible, and Ready,” and the Principal’s Award from Greenview Middle School Principal Megan Young. 

Memorial Junior High (MJH) also recently held 2nd Quarter Awards ceremonies in the cafeteria during which all recognized 7th and 8th grade students received a certificate for demonstrating academic achievement. Below is a summary of the awards granted to MJH students:

8th Grade Awards

5 students with a 4.00 GPA (all A's)

23 students earned Honor Roll (3.5-4.0 GPA)

50 students earned Merit Roll (3.00-3.49 GPA)

40 students earned a Perfect Attendance Award
 

7th Grade Awards

37 students earned Honor Roll (3.5-4.0 GPA)

35 students earned Merit Roll (3.0 – 3.49 GPA)

36 students earned a Perfect Attendance Award *** 22 of 36 Perfect Attendance Award Winners also received an Honor or Merit Roll Award recognition.
