Kindergarten students at Rowland Elementary School finished their first full week of school on Thursday, September 1, 2022. The students started this school year by working on colors, enVision Math, and Wonders Reading. As part of the introductory unit on colors, Kindergarteners studied a different color each day of the week. Activities included learning to read and write the color names, recognizing them in daily poems and songs, and using different colors to create a book to show their families! Each day the students also dressed in a different color that helped to reinforce their learning and enrich their class family. The entire school joined in on the fun to help the students feel welcomed and safe at Rowland.
