On Friday, May 27th, Greenview Middle School rewarded students who met their individual reading or math “stretch” goals for the entire year on the i-Ready assessment with an ice cream social! Students take the i-Ready online diagnostic assessment in reading and math at the beginning, middle, and end portion of the school year. After completing the assessment, students are assigned a “stretch” goal based on the assessment and complete individualized learning activities on the i-Ready learning program throughout the year. Participating 5th and 6th grade students from each grade level enjoyed a variety of ice cream in the cafeteria complete with sprinkles, whipped cream, and cherries! Congratulations to our 5th and 6th grade students for their dedication and hard work this year to meet their i-Ready stretch goals! Way to go!
