South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools Develops AED Safety Video in Partnership with University Hospitals, Cleveland Browns
Safety and Security remains a top priority throughout the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools and aligned with a variety of new initiatives and recent efforts, the district has recently created an AED safety video to help train and inform individuals on life-saving measures.
The purpose of the video, which can be viewed by selecting the nearby link, has been created to show the critical value and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and to ensure that the device falls within desired distanced in the event of an emergency.
Currently, South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools officials are capitalizing on grantmaking opportunities for additional mobile AED devices, in the effort to more safely equip students and staff for a variety of scenarios. The SEL video demonstrating AED awareness and safety was produced with the help of our very own Brush High School students who are part of the C.F. Brush High School AVTV Productions, and in partnership with our trusted community stakeholders, Dr. Robert Flannery, Sports Medicine at University Hospitals, and the Cleveland Browns. Under the continued pursuit of enhancing safety and security, the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools has created this video, and will routinely seek opportunities to grow in keeping everyone in the Arc family protected and empowered.
