After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Brush Senior Art Show returned with a great deal of excitement during a formal program held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, in the renovated Brush High School library. Open to any Senior wishing to participate, the art show is the culmination of each student’s four years at Brush High School, showcasing their unique and remarkable individual talents. The art show is open to the general public from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the school day through Monday, April 25th. Select student artwork is for sale and a price book is available for reference in the library.
Thirteen judges consisting of area educators, Brush alumni, gallery directors and other members of the arts community in Cleveland were in attendance to adjudicate the impressive and diverse display of featured artwork. Monetary awards were given to the top winners in each category. The Brush PTA generously donated $150.00 to the Brush Art Show which was included in the overall monetary award for the Best In Show Award category. A special thank you to the Brush Arts and Technology Department, including instructors Hadley Conner, April Lewis, and Sarah Curry for their assistance in coordinating the 2022 Brush Senior Art Show and dedication on behalf of our students. Finally, congratulations to all students who participated in this year’s Senior Art Show for their hard work and impressive artistry over the past four years!
