MJH Celebrates 3rd Quarter Achievements
MJH 3rd Qtr Awards Ceremony
Memorial Junior High School recently hosted a ceremony in the new gym to recognize those students who demonstrated excellence in the areas of academics and school attendance during the third grading quarter. Academic award categories included Honor Roll (3.5-4.0 GPA) and Merit Roll (3.0-3.49 GPA). At the 7th grade awards ceremony, thirty-eight students achieved Honor Roll status, which included a recipient of the Principal’s Award for a perfect 4.0 GPA (all A’s), in addition to thirty-five students who attained Merit Roll status. During the 8th grade awards ceremony, thirty-eight students made Honor Roll, including a Principal’s Award honoree while thirty-seven received Merit Roll certificates. A total of twenty-seven 7th grade students and twenty-eight 8th grade students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance during the third quarter. 

Students were congratulated and handed a certificate by several MJH and district staff members, including Guidance Counselors Jennifer Kennicutt (8th grade) and Kris Durkin (7th grade), Assistant Principals Rob Atwood and Dave Capretta. Congratulations to all MJH students who were recognized during the 3rd Quarter Awards Ceremony!
