First grade students in Mrs. Williams’ classroom at Rowland Elementary School love reading and have been working diligently on various literacy and writing activities. Some of their favorite stories include The Hungry Caterpillar, and Little Basketball among others. The students are learning to use text evidence when writing and can identify the different parts of a sentence in stories, including nouns, verbs, and subjects. Keep up the great work, first grade!
