During the month of April, Mrs. Speight, our dedicated school counselor at Rowland Elementary, led an engaging lesson on Positive Intent as part of the Conscious Discipline program. Students learned the importance of seeing the best in others and approaching challenges with loving eyes to transform problems into solutions. To reinforce this valuable lesson, students crafted heart-shaped glasses, serving as a visual reminder to be helpful, not hurtful, in their interactions with others. Through activities like these, we strive to cultivate a culture of empathy and kindness within our school community.
