Rowland's students and staff recently collaborated with students from Brush High School to commemorate Black History Month. With the support of Athletic Director Jamar Ross, members of the Wrestling team, Lady Arcs basketball team, and Boys basketball team engaged in activities that celebrated The Art of Literature. The Brush students spent time reading in classrooms and distributing bookmarks. Additionally, ninth and tenth graders in Ms. Quinlan's class created artwork to contribute to the month's theme, Celebrating the Arts in the District. A special thank you to all Brush High School students and staff for providing a memorable Black History Month learning experience at Rowland Elementary!
