MJH Socktober, an initiative dedicated to providing warm socks for individuals at local homeless shelters, took place during the last 2 weeks of October. The Student Council team worked to come up with this fun idea and set a goal of collecting 400 pairs of socks. Each homeroom class competed against each other to bring in the most brand-new socks for the homeless. The winning classroom received a breakfast spread on Halloween courtesy of MJH Student Council. Hats off to the winning homeroom, Ms. Baric’s class, who brought in a total of 203 pairs of socks. In the end, MJH came together, exceeded their goal of 400 pairs, and donated a total of 658 pairs!!!!! Thank you to all who made this initiative a huge success. An additional shout out to the SEL bus garage who also got involved! You made a difference!
