Riley’s Parke Honors Memory of Beloved Teacher

 Riley's Parke

At Greenview Campus, a newly finished outdoor garden area is serving as a lasting dedication to the memory of a beloved SEL Schools educator, Mr. Riley Parke, who passed away in November 2021. Mr. Parke taught math and science in the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools for twenty-seven years, and displayed a passionate dedication to helping students succeed. Affectionately called “Riley’s Parke” the garden area is located just outside the Greenview Middle School library and features a beautiful assortment of flowers and plants. A series of benches, paid for with grant money, are also situated in the area for staff, students, and visitors to enjoy. Transforming the once overgrown flowerbeds into a vibrant outdoor space was the result of dedicated efforts by district staff and community members. Special thanks to Greenview Campus Building Monitor, Cassie Rawlins and Greenview Campus building substitute and South Euclid Council At-Large Council Member, Susan Hardy for their contributions towards the beautification of the area. Riley’s Parke will now serve as an enduring tribute to Mr. Parke and the positive impact he made in the lives of students, staff, and the SEL Schools community.
