Brush junior Riley Mills has the distinct honor of being selected to participate in Bank of America’s Student Leaders® program. Riley will join more than three-hundred juniors and seniors from across the country to gain direct experience in serving their local communities through a paid eight-week summer internship with a nonprofit organization such as Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Habitat for Humanity. The Student Leaders® program will also provide Riley with the unique opportunity to attend the national Student Leaders Summit in Washington, D.C. on July 22-27, 2024. Participants will develop civic, social, and business leadership skills and gain a fuller understanding of how nonprofit organizations, governments, and businesses collaborate to meet the needs of community members.
Bank of America’s Student Leaders® program involves a highly competitive selection process which requires all student applicants to submit a letter of recommendation and be in good standing at their respective school. Riley’s selection is especially noteworthy as Brush High School has not had a student selected since the Student Leaders® program was introduced in Cleveland approximately ten years ago.
The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools proudly congratulate Riley Mills on her outstanding accomplishment and for demonstrating a commitment to leadership and service in the greater community!
