This past Saturday, several students from the Memorial Jr. High Orchestra program participated in the District 7 Jr. High Solo and Ensemble Adjudicated Event at Mentor Memorial Middle School. Students were required to play a prepared scale and solo piece for a certified judge in music education. Below are the results of their solos!

 

Eclips Toomey- received a rating of a 1 or "superior" on the violin.

Maialyn Murphy- received a rating of a 1 or "superior" on the violin.

Brianna Loggins- received a rating of a 1 or "superior" on the violin.

Asmina Wencel-Dobbins- received a rating of a 2 or "excellent" on the violin.

 

These students worked very hard over the last few weeks by practicing at home and coming in after school to rehearse with our pianist, Mr. Craig McGaughey. We are so proud of them!
