A State of the Schools Presentation was delivered by Superintendent Dr. Linda N. Reid on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at Charles F. Brush High School for the purpose of sharing with the community an update of SEL Schools. The media center/library served as the host location for the presentation, which included remarks from Dr. Reid and a comprehensive power point presentation of major aspects of district operations, before and audience including citizens from the community, Board Members, elected officials, principals, and Treasurer Josh Hill and the district’s administrative team. The presentation began with a summary of the SEL Experience, which references the various ways we invest in our students with high quality curriculum, expanding course options, visual and performing arts opportunities, technology and innovation and so much more. An update of the facilities, finances, accomplishments, and our new strategic plan were also part of the presentation.
