Adrian Elementary School community came together to celebrate the achievements of students, staff, and classrooms at their monthly all-school assembly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The school gym was filled with excitement and anticipation as Principal Ken Lasky proudly announced and congratulated each recipient. The program began with the Outstanding Student of the Month awards which were given to one student from each grade level classroom and each specials class. Each recipient received a certificate with a short congratulatory message from their teacher describing their positive character traits, classroom behavior, and overall example which they displayed on a consistent basis during the month of January.

Adrian teacher Mrs. Katie Schmidt was announced as January’s Staff Member of the Month after being nominated by her peers for going above and beyond for students and staff. Congratulations, Mrs. Schmidt!

The assembly concluded with the three classrooms achieving the highest attendance rate for the month being awarded by Mr. Lasky. First place was awarded to Mrs. Abbott’s first grade classroom, followed by second place winner, Miss Catalano’s first grade class, and third place winner, Mrs. Little’s kindergarten classroom. Congratulations to all Adrian students and staff who were recognized for representing themselves and their school with Arc Pride!
