The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools bid farewell to departing Superintendent Dr. Linda N. Reid earlier this week, with an impassioned, districtwide clap-out events which took place at buildings throughout the district. Kicking off at the Central Office with administrators and staff, Dr. Reid was surprised by her very own family, and walked the halls of the Board of Education to the applause of her central office colleagues. From there, she was appropriately and stylistically transported with her family members by the Euclid Beach Boys’ Rocket Ship Car, and visited Greenview, and then Rowland, Memorial, Brush High School, Adrian, and Sunview. Each stop featured the entire school building student body and staff clapping out our beloved and departing SEL Schools Superintendent with the highest love, support, and honor for her. Thank you to the building principals, staff members, students, and to Dr. Reid for this moment, one by which our entire school family came together in a unified sense of school district Arc pride.
