Adrian Elementary School celebrated the final Outstanding Students of the Month ceremony for the 2023-2024 school year on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The entire school community filled the gym with excitement to hear Principal Lasky announce the names of those students who exhibited exemplary traits such as being a good friend and putting forth strong effort in the classroom. One student from each grade level classroom and specials class was recognized with an award certificate featuring a congratulatory message from their teacher describing their positive character traits, classroom behavior, and overall example which they displayed on a consistent basis. Mr. Newman awarded medals to the four students who had the top scores on the annual fitness test. Those classrooms which had the top attendance during the month of May were recognized with a trophy. Mrs. Abbott’s first grade class took third place, followed by second place finisher, Mrs. Santarelli’s first grade class, while first place was awarded to Mrs. Baca’s third grade classroom. Building Secretary Mrs. Gardner received the Staff Member of the Month Award for her hard work and dedication. Congratulations to all students, staff, and classrooms for their award-winning efforts!
