Senior Brush artist, Danny Sudberry, has had the special honor of having his artwork showcased in various exhibitions across the state of Ohio this school year. Danny’s impressive landscape painting (pictured on homepage) was juried into the Emerging Artist Exhibition sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA). This traveling exhibition started at the Westerville Public Library, followed by a stay in Columbus at the Ohio Department of Education, before concluding in Toledo at the OAEA Annual Conference.
Danny’s triptych, a piece of artwork that is made of three pieces, titled The Absurdist, The Existentialist, and The Nihilist, was accepted into the Ohio University exhibition "State of the Arts + Mentor/Mentee." This unique exhibition features the artwork of students and their respective mentees, and includes artwork created by Brush art teacher, Sarah Curry. The exhibition was on display in Athens, OH from October 17th through November 4, 2023. Artwork by all Ohio students and their teachers can be viewed at the following online gallery.
