Red Ribbon Week at Greenview

Red Ribbon Week at Greenview

Greenview Campus students demonstrated their commitment to setting a positive example and staying drug free during Red Ribbon Week 2023 from Monday, October 23rd through Friday, October 27th. This year’s festivities were kicked-off with a special red ribbon cutting ceremony at the front entrance during the morning of October 23rd. All those in attendance, including Superintendent Dr. Linda N. Reid and Board President Cassandra M. Jones, wore red to show their support. During the ceremony, student representatives from grades 4-6 recited the Red Ribbon Week pledge as a demonstration of their promise to regularly attend school and focus on their academic studies, seek ways to make a positive impact in their community and help others while staying drug free. Each day of Red Ribbon Week featured a different school attire theme, and included Dress to Impress on Tuesday, 10/24, Mismatch Day on Wednesday, 10/25, wearing their favorite sports team’s jersey or hat on Thursday, 10/28, and showing their Arc Pride by wearing Arcs Gear or brown/gold clothing on Friday, 10/28. Congratulations to our Greenview Campus students for proudly supporting Red Ribbon Week and the importance of a drug-free lifestyle.
