At the annual year-end meeting of the SEL Schools’ strategic partners and community stakeholders, retiring Superintendent Dr. Linda N. Reid was recognized.

English teacher and Creative Writing Club advisor, Katie Sutton brought back the annual Brush High School Poetry Slam with nine students sharing multiple pieces of their original work. 

SEL Preschool students were able to have an unforgettable outdoor learning activity thanks to the generosity of Charlotte Mates, a Brush graduate living in Wadsworth. 

The SEL Schools are proud to take the opportunity to recognize all district teachers and staff for their outstanding contributions on behalf of our students and the district. 

The outstanding talent and creativity of Brush student artists was celebrated at the 2023-24 Senior Art Show Award ceremony in the Brush Media Center. Approximately thirty-one seniors participated in the highly anticipated exhibition. The art on display was chosen by the students and the work was created both at school and at home. Students chose to display a wide range of work consisting of drawings, paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures, mosaics, collages, and mixed media.
