The Korb Field Renovation Project is an exciting, planned overhaul to the outdoor athletic complex at Brush High School. After more than 11 years of usage of the current field turf, the time has come to replace it with a newer, more durable and safer turf surface that will last the district another 10 years.
The project has been financially prepared for during the last several years by the deliberate setting-aside of funds that have been primarily generated from rental fees associated with the field’s use. The balance of the cost is anticipated to be covered by sponsorships and advertisers. The project will also include the replacement of the scoreboard. Once the project begins later this spring, it is anticipated to be completed prior to next football season.
The district has prepared a number of resources for you to learn more about this project. Below, you will find a project overview, ten important facts about the project, an important “Question and Answer document,” and renderings of the anticipated look of the field, when completed. As the various stages of the project develop, the district will utilize this page to keep the community posted.
