To help strengthen its partnership with the City of South Euclid, Greenview Upper Elementary hosted South Euclid Mayor Georgine Welo, Ward 3 Councilperson Sara Continenza and Councilperson At-Large Marty Gelfand at its Muffins with Murphy event during the week of December 3rd. Developed by Greenview Principal Kelly Murphy, Muffins with Murphy is a recurring event which provides a forum for fostering and promoting community partnerships. South Euclid officials along with parent representative Christina Hidek had the opportunity to meet students and staff and learn more about the Greenview experience. The presentation focused on the rigorous and relevant academic programming which meets the learning needs of all students, including those identified as gifted and special needs. Attendees also learned about the building-wide Conscious Discipline program which emphasizes “connection before correction” as a core part of its philosophy. Thank you to the City of South Euclid for supporting the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools.
