MJH Strong Initiative Recognizes Students for Accountability

strong

Memorial Junior High recently debuted its MJH Strong Initiative as a creative way to recognize students for being accountable for their actions, as well as for demonstrating achievement in the classroom and co-curricular activities. Student recipients are given military-styled ID tags featuring the Arc logo and colors along with “MJH Strong” listed on each side.  8th graders Jermaine Hill and Dwayne Amey were the first recipients of the MJH Strong tags for their leadership in launching student-led projects in the Green Screen room located in the school’s state-of-the-art Makerspace area.  Since the 2018-2019 school year, both Jermaine and Dwayne have demonstrated creativity and initiative through several ongoing video productions, including daily morning announcements and Sports Talk, an ESPN-style show featuring Memorial sports footage and related commentary.  The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools community can watch a video of Mr. Kaple awarding the MJH Strong tags to Dwayne and Jermaine on the brand new Memorial Junior High Instagram account.  Mr. Kaple regularly spotlights student and staff accomplishments on the building Instagram account using #MJHStrong.  Congratulations to Jermaine Hill and Dwayne Amey on their awesome accomplishment!  Keep up the great work!
