Memorial Math Teacher David DeWitt Medalist for National Senior Olympics

Memorial Junior High School Math Teacher, David DeWitt, will compete again in the National Senior Games after garnering a bronze-medal finish in last summer’s games in the pole vault.  This summer, the games will be held in Cleveland, Ohio between July 19 and August 1, 2013 and will use the new medical mart facilities as their formal Olympic Village. The National Senior Games area non-profit organization is dedicated to motivating active adults to lead a healthy lifestyle through the senior games movement.

The Games, a 19-sport, biennial competition for men and women 50 and over, is the largest multi-sport event in the world for seniors.

Congratulations to SEL’s David DeWitt for his competitive enthusiasm and spirit for friendly sporting contests!
